ELEMENTARY STUDENTS MARK 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL Counting to 100 is a milestone in elementary school, especially when it involves the 100th day of school. Jennifer Healey’s second graders at Pequenakonck Elementary School made it a multi-disciplinary event earlier this week, participating in a 100 Day word hunt around the classroom, reading a 100-word poem, drawing self portraits of what they might look like when they are 100 years old, and completing math facts that amounted to 100. Most challenging of all, they sat completely still for 100 seconds.
