Budget & Trustee Election

Qualifications for voting in any school district election are:

• U.S. Citizen
• 18 years of age by the date of the election
  (May 19, 2009)
• A resident of the school district 30 days prior to the election
• Registered in the school district
  

Candidates seeking election to the Board of Education must file a nominating petition with the district clerk no later than Monday, April 20, 2009.

Persons may register during each school day at the office of the District Clerk.

Deadline to register is May 13.

The School Budget Vote and Board Trustee Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Pequenakonck Elementary. Polls are open from 7 am – 9 pm.

Absentee Ballots
Applications for absentee ballots are available from April 28, 2009 in the office of the district clerk. Applications for absentee ballots to be mailed to the voter should be received by the district clerk by May 12; applications for absentee ballots to be picked up in person should be received by the district clerk by May 19. The district clerk must receive absentee ballots by 5 pm on May 19, 2009.
