Health Services

Good health maintenance and health counseling are available to all students and their families. A physical examination for all youngsters entering grades K, 2, 4, 7, and 10 is required. Screening procedures are conducted for hearing, vision problems and for scoliosis. If you need more information or have a health-related problem, please call the Health Office at your child’s school for assistance.

Pupil Personnel Services

To assist all our students in achieving their individual potential, the North Salem Central School District employs specialists in various fields. The role of the specialist is to support the students in their educational, emotional, physical, and social growth through direct contact with students and consultation with the teaching staff and parents.

Business Office

The Business Office serves the community, faculty and staff.  Our primary functions include preparing and managing the budget, purchasing, accounting and auditing services, benefit administration, employee payroll and fiscal accountability.

Additionally, the Business Office oversees the food service program and administers the textbook loan program for students attending non-public schools.  In compliance with Section 701 of Education Law and per district policy, book orders must be received no later than
June 1.

Transportation

Requests for transportation for private and parochial schools can made to the Transportation Department by April 1, 2011.Request Form
