Robert McCloskey Mural Dedication Ceremony: Robert McCloskey, famous author and illustrator of Caldecott Award books including Make Way for Ducklings, lived in North Salem over 50 years ago. He created the mural for his dentist in Croton Falls. The mural has hung at PQ since the school was built in 1972. The PTO has funded a special frame to preserve for the art for the future. The mural will hang in the hallway opposite the multi-purpose room with a plaque telling more about Robert McCloskey and his books.
