Pequenakonck PTO!

The elementary PTO, serving grades K – 5, works with the school to enhance the quality of educational experiences for all children at PQ. It also acts as a vehicle of communication among parents, teachers, and the school administration.

The PTO holds major fundraisers annually, the PQ Harvest Fair, two book fairs, a dinner dance/silent auction. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. You may sign up as a PTO member at the Open Houses held in September. The membership fee is $10.00 and includes a student directory.

Some of the programs made possible through the efforts of the PTO are an after-school enrichment program, school pictures, a PQ memory book, Staff Appreciation Day, assembly programs, and the month-long PARP (Parents as Reading Partners) Program.

Mindfulness Presentation
Dennis Tendler and Chris Latterner presented the second session of bully prevention.  This series was developed to support our students and families and to answer what we as a community can do to address the concerns voiced in Race to Nowhere, a film we viewed last year.
