Mr. DiGrandi holds a BA in Communications from Fordham University, an MA in Elementary Education from Fairfield University and a Professional Certificate in Administration from Sacred Heart University’s College of Education and Health Professions. Before becoming the North Salem MSHS Principal, Vince was the Mahopac Middle School Principal and held several administrative positions in the Wappingers Central School District including John Jay High School Assistant Principal, Wappingers Junior High School Principal, and Fishkill Plains Elementary Principal. Prior to entering administration, Vince began his teaching career in Westport, Connecticut.

Dr. Kathleen (Kate) Murphy is a former science teacher and Department Chair of Science at North Salem Middle/High School where she taught (Regents) Earth Science to freshmen and Forensic Science to upperclassman for 11 years. Dr. Murphy was accepted into the New York State Master Teacher Program and then made the shift into administration to take on the role of Assistant Principal at North Salem Middle / High School. She is enjoying the new challenges and opportunities for learning in this position.

Kathleen's educational experiences includes a Certificate in Educational Administration, a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Leadership, a Master’s of Science in Instructional Technology, and a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education: Earth Science. Her favorite part of the school day is talking to students, visiting classes, and supporting the day to day learning.
