Mrs. Sheri Dee has been teaching music for over 28 years and has taught music to students ages 3 - adult.  While primarily being a band director, Mrs. Dee has also taught general music and chorus in schools as well as private piano and instrumental lessons at home.  Mrs. Dee has taught at the middle school level in Putnam Valley, New York, elementary and middle school levels in Danbury, CT,  and the elementary and middle school levels in Brewster, New York. She is currently teaching 4th and 5th grade band and instrumental lessons at PQ, and 6th and 9th - 12th grade instrumental lessons at the MS/HS in North Salem.  She received her Bachelor's Degree from Houghton College and her Master's Degree from Western Connecticut State University.  She also has taken many additional classes at the Hartt School of Music as well as other institutions.  Her primary instrument is clarinet and she loves teaching her students how to problem solve and become better musicians!
