Gifted and Talented

Program Philosophy

The North Salem Central School District implements The Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM, Renzulli, 1977; Renzulli & Reis, 1985, 1997, 2014)  as both an enrichment program used with academically gifted and talented students and an enrichment approach for all students in grades 3 to 5. Service delivery components consist of the Triad Model for Enrichment, Enrichment Clusters, and curriculum modifications for advanced learners.
