If medication is required during the school day, you must submit signed written orders from the healthcare provider and a Parent & Prescriber’s Authorization For Administration Of Medication In School signed by a parent or guardian. It is required that such medications be delivered directly to the school nurse by the parent/guardian in the original prescription bottle. This includes ALL over-the-counter medication such as Tylenol, cough drops, Advil or cough medicine. The only exception is the use of sunscreen.

While at the pharmacy, request an additional pharmacy labeled container for the child's medication at school. All medications must be in an original pharmacy labeled container.
