Pequenakonck Elementary School
The Pequenakonck Elementary School PTO, serving grades K – 5, works with the school to enhance the quality of educational experiences for all children at PQ. It also acts as a vehicle for communication among parents, teachers, and the school administration. They hold monthly meetings both during the day and in the evenings throughout the year. Membership is open to all PTO families and teachers. You may join the PTO at Curriculum Nights each September. The membership fee is $25.00 and includes access to the online student directory.
The PTO holds various fundraisers annually to support the experiences they provide for the students and teachers. Fundraisers include the PQ Harvest Festival, two book fairs, as well as a spring event/silent auction.
Some of the programs made possible through the efforts of the PTO are an after-school enrichment program, school pictures, a PQ memory book, Staff Appreciation Day, cultural assembly programs, our ABC PQ Program (Authors. Books. Children. PQ) , and field trips at each grade level.
