This presentation will provide parents with strategies for managing stress and anxiety in their children. Topics will include an overview of treatment options for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders. A Q&A period will follow the presentation. **MS/HS STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND**
AP Art students Julia Balch, Elle Da Silva, Alex Garcia, Anya Nardone, Alexa Schaub, Evan Teplensky and Ainsley Zimmer are currently developing the Concentration portion of their portfolio, a body of related works that demonstrate sustained and thoughtful investigation of a specific, visual idea. From the onset of brainstorming to reflection and self-assessment, this visual investigation involves critical and creative thinking, collaboration and communication. The works that are the culmination of this problem-solving process will be featured at the Young Artists 2019 show at the Katonah Museum of Art. The show will run from February 10--March 3rd. The opening reception is Sunday, February 10, 3-5 pm. http://www.katonahmuseum.org/
American Legion Boys State is a week-long program that immerses high school youth (currently completing their junior year) in citizenship and leadership training.
