END OF YEAR TESTING/SCHEDULES 
MS students in grades 6-8 have full, regularly scheduled classes through June 24, 2019, unless notified otherwise by their specific teachers (for those taking Regents exams)
 
HS students only need to attend days they have specific exams, either local or regents from June 17-21.
 
Attached is Regents and Local Final Schedule for MSHS. Students should confirm times and room locations with their teachers.
 
 
GRADUATION
Senior Parents attached is some important information regarding Graduation on June 17, 2019
 
Do you know any Seniors graduating from North Salem High School?  -- Surprise them by giving them a North Salem High School Graduation Lawn Sign.  Details for ordering are attached here.
 
 
NSFFL Auction
Reserved Seats for High School Graduation and 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony.  The North Salem Foundation for Learning is offering an exciting opportunity from June 4 to June 12 for families to bid on reserved seats for the 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony and the North Salem High School Graduation:

Four (4) seats for the June 26th 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony will be auctioned as one block (but may be split between two or more families who choose to bid together).  These seats will be located in the front row of the middle section of the MS/HS auditorium.

Six (6) seats for the June 17th High School Graduation will be auctioned as one block (but may be split between two or more families who choose to bid together).  These seats will be located 3-4 rows from the front in the middle section.

The auction will be held via the Signups section of My School Anywhere (PTO membership required; to join, please email mspto@northsalemschools.org). Auction proceeds will benefit programs sponsored by the North Salem Foundation for Learning.  Please refer to the attached rules and guidelines to learn how to place your bid!

Tutoring Available
In an effort to connect students with peer tutors, the National Honor Society is implementing a new and improved tutoring program. If your student would be interested in seeing a peer tutor for the fourth quarter and/or regents prep please fill out the attached tutoring referral form. This form should be turned in to Jillian Foglia in the counseling office as soon as possible.

Volunteers Needed -- Our Farm's Equine Rescue
Weekends or after school - once a week - paddock clean up - picking up manure, rocks, branches, and simple property maintenance. Weekend Mornings - Help with horses and barn chores.  Summer Volunteer Internships also available. All of these are non-paid volunteer hours. NORTH SALEM FITNESS CENTER

After School Schedule
September 12th – June 14th

The Fitness Center is open after school as follows:
High School Students:
·         Monday’s                      2:30-3:30 pm
·         Wednesday’s                3:00-4: 00 pm
·         Friday’s                        2:30-3:30 pm

7th and 8th Grade Students:

  • Tuesday’s                    3:00-4:00 pm
  • Thursday’s                   3:00-4:00 pm

Varsity and JV athletic teams will have exclusive use of the Fitness Center beginning at 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  

We are looking for the following coaches for the Fall Sports Season:

JV Volleyball
