Juniors and Sophomores
During the morning of October 16, 2019, we will be offering the PSAT to any interested juniors and sophomores during the school day. Counselors will be going into all 10th and 11th grade English classes in September to discuss the tests with the students and to distribute informational letters. Please click on the link to access the letter. Please feel free to call your child’s counselor with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Junior and Seniors
So far, we have more than 70 colleges scheduled to visit this fall starting on September 9th. Please feel free to come meet the college representatives for schools you're interested in learning more about. In many cases, they will also be the person reviewing the student applications. Please register for a session through Naviance Student (formerly known as Family Connection). The schedule can be found under the College Visits tab. The representatives will meet with students in the High School Counseling office during the scheduled time. If there's a school you'd like to have come that's currently not listed, please let the Counseling Office know and we'll try to schedule a visit.
This is a very exciting and sometimes stressful time for seniors as they decide where they will go and what they will do after graduation. Mr. Davis and Mrs. Loughran will be available for all seniors throughout the year as they navigate these waters. We will be going into all OPTIONS classes in September to review the college application process to be sure that all students are familiar with the procedures. We ask that each senior who wishes to apply to college make an individual appointment with their counselor at least 2-3 weeks before sending out their applications.

On September 11th in 2001, our lives and the world we knew changed forever. What started as a beautiful, autumn day, turned out to be one of the darkest days in American history. Brave men and women gave their lives that day for us and our country. Today, many still live with the effects of that day; that is why we can never forget.
A ceremony in remembrance, hosted by The Croton Falls Fire District, will take place at The North Salem Fire Station, 301 Titicus Road, North Salem, New York, on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30 PM. We hope you can join us on this day of remembrance. For additional information, please contact Patricia Galluccio at 914-669-5544 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org
