THERE WILL BE NO MEAL DELIVERY DURING WEATHER EMERGENCIES AND SCHOOL CLOSURES.
The North Salem CSD will be offering FREE weekend meals for students. Parents may pick up weekend meals for all students grades K-12 between 8:30-9:15 Friday mornings at the Middle/High School Kitchen Entrance.
Recent federal and state decisions now allow the District to temporarily serve free meals to all students for the remainder of the school year. This decision is subject to change at the federal government's discretion. During this time meals will be provided at no cost. They will be distributed in school for in-person students. The District will also provide meals for remote students to pick up.
- Parents may pick up meals for all students grades K-12 between 8:30-9:15am daily at the Middle/High School Kitchen Entrance.
- Middle/High School students may pick up meals at the end of each day at the schools main entrance.
Due to the temporary nature of this decision the District still requires that qualifying households complete applications for free and reduced meals as usual and return them as soon as possible.
